Hello Team Cheese! My name is Victoria Seguin and I am the owner of Sharecuterie Boards… Welcome to my one woman show!
Before I get into how this whole thing started and why I refer to you as “ Team cheese”, there are a few things you need to know about me...
I am the third child in a family of 4, a former athlete, and group fitness instructor. I have worked as a manager, building, guiding and teaching my team. I am a trained dancer and was a dance teacher for many years.
My entire life has been working in teams, in community...Working together, and understanding that every single person involved in a team has equal importance and value. Without you, there would be no Sharecuterie Boards. And so I consider this a team.
Growing up, at any of our family holidays, celebrations, birthdays or get-togethers, my mom would always present us with these beautiful spreads of food. Everyone sitting around, laughing, enjoying, creating memories...Charcuterie has always been a very nostalgic thing for me as it reminds me of home, comfort and celebration.
Sharecuterie Boards started March 14th 2021, a couple months after a text from a friend saying.. And I quote “ Girl, you would be stupid if you didnt turn these boards in to a business”....I guess I always had a knack for it, I remember I often built big fruit and veggie trays for my brothers and sisters as a kid...
It was the start of the third lockdown and my mind was wrestling with the fact that this could either be the best or worst time to start a business. I was seeing small local businesses shutting down all around me and it was saddening ...My heart was breaking for them.I thought… Why can’t I be a small business that supports small businesses? DING DING DING!!!Next thing I knew I was starting a business. The response and support from this community has been so incredible that I was able to take the biggest leap of my life and leave the security of working in the corporate fitness world, jump both feet in the deep end, and trust that I have everything I need to succeed. Sharecuterie boards allow me to live a more balanced life, tap into my creativity, build a community, serve others, and continue working in the fitness industry, only now as an independent coach.
I make your boards with so much love because I am grateful to what this business, this team has allowed me to do.
